From quote to collection
Choose an eligible complete bicycle and any confirmed accessories you want included.
Select Get a quote on the product page. The quote must show the bicycle year, model and whether it is new or used.
Complete Yonda’s online application. A quick pre-approval can return an initial result in minutes during office hours.
Upload the required documents with the application or email them afterwards. Yonda sends the application to the bank for scoring.
Yonda contacts you to discuss the bank’s feedback, repayments, deposit and any outstanding requirements, including insurance.
If you proceed, Yonda prepares the iContract for online signature and arranges release of the bicycle from Biket.
Before you apply
Yonda says WesBank can usually access income information directly, so payslips and bank statements may not be required.
Payslips are not required. Provide at least three months’ bank statements showing income unless the FNB or FRB exception applies.
Open the bike you want and select Get a quote. Our site will generate and email your Biket quote automatically—use it with your Yonda application.
Yonda allows the following accessories to be added to your bicycle finance quote:
Add these items before selecting Get a quote so they appear on your Biket quote. Yonda’s general guide also mentions functional upgrades such as wheels, but these should be confirmed with Biket or Yonda before applying.
Do not assume that apparel, electronics, nutrition, workshop labour or accessories outside the confirmed list will be financed. Ask Biket or Yonda before adding anything else to the application.
Final requirements depend on the bank’s assessment. Comprehensive bicycle insurance is mandatory before the bicycle can be released.
Important financial details
Choose 12, 24, 36 or 48 months, subject to approval.
Yonda says new bicycles normally require a deposit starting from R4,100. Used bicycles normally do not. Biket’s displayed monthly estimates use a 10% deposit.
Yonda currently lists a R1,207.50 WesBank initiation fee and a R2,990 Yonda service fee. These can be included in the financed amount.
Your rate and repayment depend on credit scoring. Used-bicycle rates may be fixed or variable. The calculator is not a formal approval or quote.
Yonda says additional payments and early settlement can be made without a penalty.
Pre-approval can take minutes during office hours. With complete documents, the average full deal takes about three to five days.
Yonda asks about debt review or insolvency, sequestration or administration orders, missed payments and whether the monthly repayment is affordable. Final approval is decided by the bank.
Yonda says a WesBank Shariah-compliant option is available. Complete the application and then contact Yonda so the correct process can be followed.
